2006 Lone Star Shootout

Randy Gunter's 1974 Dodge Dart Sport is powered by a Miller Performance 408 cid Small Block Chrysler and 727 transmission. We also replaced some of the floor pans, added sub frame connectors and ladder bars as well as a custom fabricated 3" exhaust system. Randy was one of 8 cars selected to compete in the Mopar Action Shootout in Houston. The cars were judged on appearance as well as performance. Once the smoke cleared, Randy's car was judged the baddest of them all. He hands down won the performance end of things by over 1/2 second running an impressive ET of 11.41. The car was featured in an article in the February 2007 issue of Mopar Action Magazine.

UPDATE:

Randy's Dart was featured in a 5 page spread in the June 2008 issue of Popular Hot Rodding magazine and included a cover shot. Randy also won the Sportsman class at the Mopars at the Motorplex race in May 2008 and was runner up in the Top Eliminator class.

David and Ana Miller's 1973 MGB Roadster

A full restoration was completed on this little car. The very first show it was entered in was the 2005 Ft. Worth Rod and Custom show where they won their class with the car.

Frank Smiths 1962 Dodge Dart "FrankenWagon"

Frank on his way to winning Nostalgia Super Stock at the 2007 Lone Star Shootout at Houston Raceway Park. Frank also won two races in the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge racing series in 2007 making this Miller Performance built car a proven winner.

Miller Performance 1979 AMC Spirit

This is our Nostalgia Muscle Car that we run at various events during the year. It has been a very consistent little car and has carried me to the final round at may races. It is powered by a 368cid AMC engine backed up with a 904 TorqueFlite transmission. Our best run to date has been an 11.38 at Houston Raceway Park.
