1967 Chevrolet Pickup

Yet another vehicle that was supposed to be "rust free and never wrecked". Although it wasn't in too bad of shape, it did have many small issues that needed to be addressed. The rocker panels has rust perforation that had been filled over along with the lower right front fender and the rear lower cab corners. New panels were installed and a new fender ordered. The fender that was on the truck was actually for a later model truck and had the marker lamp hole filled in. The hood and drivers door were full of holes that were put there to pull dents out in the past. All of these holes were welded shut to prevent moisture from working its way into the body filler (which was not done in the previous repairs!)

The bodywork has got to be perfect on this truck. It will be painted black with pearl mixed in. The firewall has been modified to accept an air conditioning kit from Classic Auto Air. All remaining unused holes were filled and smoothed. The truck has a new 454 crate motor installed in the chassis and will make for one sweet running truck when completed.

Stay tuned for this one!
