I'm 25 years old.I was born in Louisville, Ky, now live about 30 miles
southof there in Rineyville. I work for an aerial photography company in
Louisville as a mapping technician. I grew up in a household of drag
racers. My dad raced a 64 Galaxie back in the 70's and my brother also has an
Outlaw True Street 1972 Nova which he campains in OSCA. I started drag
racing when I was 14. My mom and dad would drive me to the track in my mom's
92 Ford Tempo and I would bracket race it. I got my first .000 reaction time
when I was 15. (I was also points leader for a while when I was 15.) When I
was 15, dad saw an ad in the bargain mart for a 1971 Chevrolet Caprice. It
was a 90,000 mile garage kept car. We got it cheap from an old lady. She
cried when we pulled out of the drive way, it was sad. I slapped a set of
Weld Draglites on it and sent pictures into CarCraft magazine and it made
Readers Rides in October 1999 without even having the car painted. A few
years later we built a nice 406 for it, and it runs what it does today. It's
a total street car. I drive it 40 miles to the track, run the crap out of
it, and drive it home with no problems.
