Kenny Van Zill St. Petersburg, Florida

Born 8/29/43 in Syracuse, New York as Kent Van Zill. As soon as I learned to talk I told everyone to call me Kenny. Everyone but Mom has. Moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1960 and have remained here. I have two ex-wives, two kids - daughter Kelli and son Kenneth a.k.a. "little Kenny", and two cats. Have been employed by me for the last 22 years doing Neon Lighting and Signs in the Central Florida area. Have been in the sign business for 43 miserable years and retirement can't get here quick enough. Drag raced in stock classes '61 thru '73, played at bracket racing in '83 and '84 and hung up the helmet til April '04 at Bradenton racing in NMC. A little about the car: Bought it in '85 from my girlfriend at that time, Dropped in the 455 and restored the car to it's present condition in '92. Rebuilt the engine in Nov. '03, added aluminum heads, alum. intake, solid lifter cam, and so forth to run in NMC. Weighs 3670 with skinny me in it, runs on the 12.00 index, has run 11.66 thru mufflers. Car runs pretty consistent 12.0's with a Turbo 400, 3.70 rear gears and believe it or not shifting at 4500 rpms. Gotta save that motor.
